Welcome to the winter issue of Perspectives on Aural Rehabilitation and Its Instrumentation. We were fortunate to receive submissions from notable authors on a variety of relevant . In this issue, Theresa Hnath Chisolm and Harvey Abrams offer a brief tutorial on quantifying the effects of aural rehabilitation on health-related quality of life, reviewing some tools easily available for audiologists to include in their treatment outcome measures.
Anita Haravon describes her involvement in a recent project that helped make hearing assistive technology available for recreational and educational travel. Finally, Barbara Weinstein provides commentary and reflection regarding the under-use of hearing aids and limited number of older adults seeking audiological services.
