This new issue of Perspectives comes at a time of transition for Special Interest Group (SIG) 7. J.P. Gagné has completed his term as coordinator and Sarah Ferguson is in her final year as a committee member. Drs. Gagné and Ferguson have provided valuable contributions to SIG 7. I would like to thank them both for all their efforts. I am honored to move into the role of coordinator. It is a challenging position and I hope to provide leadership of the same quality that the members of SIG 7 have come to expect. Joining me will be Carole Johnson, who is the new Associate Editor of Perspectives. Carol is training under Sue Erdman, whose insightful guidance will assist her to take over as Editor next year. Also new to SIG 7 are Jill Preminger, who came on to the coordinating committee this January, and Nicole Marrone, who will join us in 2015. I am fortunate to have such a thoughtful and knowledgeable group of colleagues with whom to work.
